Isogenies of Abelian Varieties
Applications to Post-Quantum Cryptography

16 - 20 November 2026
Bernoulli center, EPFL

All Isogenies lead to Lausanne

This workshop aims at bringing together the scientific community working on Abelian varieties and their isogenies with the cryptographic community interested in their applications to post-quantum cryptography.

Where ? When ?

The workshop will be held at the Bernoulli center, at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, during the week of the 16 - 20 November 2026.

Aim of the workshop

  1. Initiate cryptographers to abelian varieties, and reversely, initiate mathematicians to modern cryptography.

  2. Share the current state-of-the-art results on isogenies of abelian varieties and their applications to isogeny based cryptography.

  3. Discuss open research directions.

  4. Initiate a working group towards the native support in Python/Sagemath of easy-to-use abelian varieties and isogenies, with a focus on dimensions 2 and 4.
